Pet Palace Hotels
At PPH we are proud to offer boarding for your cats and dogs, doggie daycare, and grooming.
We are often asked, “How did you come up with this idea?” Well, it’s simple – while on vacation out-of-state, our owner’s dad boarded his dog, Dudley, at a “resort-style” boarding facility that ran much like a hotel, with suites and play areas. Dudley enjoyed that environment so much that our owners decided the Furry Children of our Pike Road and neighboring communities should have an opportunity to enjoy such luxurious accommodations as well. And, here we are!
At Pet Palace Hotels, your dogs will have fun playing indoors and outdoors on the playground equipment and will be kept busy chasing frisbies and balls. Our indoor playground is available during inclement weather to ensure your pet recieves exercise and playtime everyday.
Our guests are out of their “Rooms” the majority of their visit. They are escorted to their Rooms between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm for lunch and rest, after which they rejoin their friends in Doggie Daycare. Those staying overnight are given dinner, per your instructions, and rested between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm. They are let out again for a potty break and then tucked in for bed thirty minutes before the staff leaves.
General Services Information
Dogs must be current on rabies, distemper, and bordetella vaccinations and cats must be current on rabies and distemper (FVRCP) vaccinations – proof is required. We will gladly request that your vet fax over proof of vaccinations for our records or you may bring those records with you.
Your pets health and happiness is our primary concern. We do not require your dog to be neutered, but highly encourage it due to excessive mounting, aggression and other undesirable behaviors. Please understand that doggie daycare is not without risk to any pet. Dogs are supervised at all times, however instances can arise at anytime that cannot be avoided. If at anytime our staff notices an injury or medical problem you will be contacted immediately. All breeds are welcome, but we will turn dogs away if we find their temperament is too dangerous for our other guests or our staff, at our discretion.
The first Doggie Daycare visit is complimentary so that we may assess your dog’s temperament and ensure that he or she is a good candidate for Daycare.
If you are new to our facility and are planning a visit, either for daycare, grooming, or boarding, please fill out our New Client Forms and our Boarding Registration Form to save time during your first visit.
Please feel free to stop by anytime Monday through Friday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm for a tour, so you can see for yourself the luxury your pets have been missing!
